About Luke de Freitas
Barbados Wedding Photography
My style of shooting is primarily photo-journalistic. Yes, we’ll get awesome portraits, but I want to catch you experiencing an emotion with no direction. I want to catch the environment in which that happens. I want to catch it beautifully – with authenticity. My goal is for you to look back at you’re wedding album and re-experience your most genuine moments. If that’s your goal, we should talk.
In the last 2 years, Luke de Freitas Photography has had tremendous growth. We now have a regular team of three shooters, and two video editors to support the cinematic wedding product we launched in 2013. Our video service is for uncompromising Brides seeking an unforgettable movie of their wedding day. Whether photo or video, we’re constantly raising our own bar by aiming to shoot each wedding better than our last, and remembering that there is no ceiling on quality.
Meet the Team
Videographer/CinematographerAdam is the lead videographer on our video productions. With his cinematic direction we grew from the ‘new kid on the block’ to becoming the most sought after team of Barbados Wedding Videographers in 15 months.
Therese is a video-editor extraordinaire. As a colorist she knows how to make your day pop while achieving a natural final product. You will melt as she weaves music and audio from the day into your story line and elevates your wedding video to a truly cinematic production.
Photographer / CinematographerLuke is our lead photographer and provides overall direction for the photo & video product. His direction begins the moment you finalize a contract and extends beyond the Big Day and into the cutting room where we finalize the images and video to tell your wedding story.
Diana provides second-shooter coverage on our wedding jobs and uses her creative eye to add new perspective. She is vibrant, artistic, and irreplaceable.
Prashant is one of our master video editors. With the guidance the shooting team, he reviews all the footage we capture on site and begins the intricate work of piecing the final video together.
